Every day, I’ll pick a brand and choose one car I think represents the pinnacle of their design - not just the looks, but technology, engine, and desirability as well. The car had to be sold new in the USA.

Round 5

When I think of Bentley, one car always comes ahead of all the other models. It is a proper 4 door Bentley, with 4 proper doors and a boot, Mulliner designed interior, 6 3/4 L V8 turbo engine with adequate torque and horsepower... I present to you the Bentley Arnage, especially the last ones made, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Arnage - in my opinion - is the last of the old school Bentleys, and it is the best Bentley. I don’t mind the new ones at all - but they are all just too nouveau riche.

You’d drive this in your Savile Row suite and Crocket and Jones shoes, pull out a James Smith and Sons umbrella, and walk (never run) to the hotel for tea. /myideaofanenglishgentleman

So long as you pick the last 4-headlight XJ when you do Jag, we won't have any problems.

I do love those cars. Classy and stately with a bit of muscle under the bonnet.

Bentley Arnage RL for the week.

We shall see. I love 4 light XJs, but Jag has quite a few models that are outstanding. I will have to think hard about them and decide if I seem them as sporty or stately.

I like it. I could never drive it though unless I took it to Goodwood.

I agree with you. I always consider two door versions of huge four door executives as the pinnacle of luxury and opulence (like old CL for example I considered as the epic statement of I have too much money) and in this category, no car does it better than the Brooklands and possibly no one ever will.

I don’t know. For me, the Continental T is the pinnacle. It inspired the Arnage’s styling cues. Though if they make the Speed 6, that’d be a new pinnacle for me.

As great as the Arnage is I would argue the Brooklands or a classic Supercharged Bentley has it beat.

It is a very nice car. I just like the idea of a 4 door Bentley more. Speed 6 is amazing - I hope they make it and don’t change a thing.

If you are talking about the old 4 door one, I think Arnage is prettier. If you are talking about the new one, it looks like the Arnage coupe, and I just think a proper Bentley is a 4 door Bentley. Of course, there is no right or wrong here.

I’ll take my Rolls-Bentley thank you very much.

Ok, it’s not the pinnacle of design, but I still like it.
